Just a short walk takes you to the riverbank, the magnificent cathedral, market place and town centre with good shops, pubs and restaurants. If you wish to explore further afield the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, York, Thirsk and Harrogate are all within easy driving distance making this an ideal central location from which to discover all the delights of the superb Yorkshire Countryside.
